Phyllis M. Petran, 88, passed away on May 13, 2017. Beloved wife of Julius “Pete” Petran for 64 years. Loving mother of the late Fred, Michael (Holly) and Jim (Janet) Petran. Devoted Grandmother of Bryan, Michael, Andrew, and Madeline.
Phyllis was born March 24, 1929, in Janesville, WI. Daughter of Fred and Florence Graesslin.
Attended Milton College, Milton, Milton Wisconsin. In 1952, graduated class president from the Michael Reese School of Nursing in Chicago. For 25 years, a devoted ER nurse at Northwest Hospital in Chicago. A 57 year Mt. Prospect resident. An active homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren, garden, knitting, reading and her many years of playing golf at Mt. Prospect Golf Club.
Visitation Tuesday 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mount Prospect.
Funeral Wednesda10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment Memory Gardens.
